I was here with my school from Groenlo,
NL in 1973. A lovely place and lovely time.
It was pretty good, ruined my shoes playing basketball though and found a half eaten Oreo which was better than the breakfast

I was here from school, very interesting place with no shops lol. The staff here is very nice and helpful. The mattresses are a bit too narrow and you lie half in a crack in the bed. There is no soap or towels in the room and they are very small. The food is very tasty and you can help yourself. Sparkling water would be nice and maybe thicker toilet paper biiiiitttteee.
Nevertheless, I would always come back for a school event. The class team members are very well trained and very kind and cooperative. Greetings to Ralf and Leonie
We really enjoyed the walk around the Gemen youth castle.
We always had beautiful views of the castle and the changing lighting conditions made it particularly interesting. The immediate surroundings of the castle also offer a variety of motifs.
Great atmosphere, in every season! It's always a pleasure to come here for courses and training. Within the houses, the groups and course participants are among themselves and are not public.
Especially in and around the castle itself it is simply beautiful (tip: a walk around the castle at sunrise!). The food is very tasty, there is a lot to choose from, and special needs are easily taken into account. Due to the age of the complex, the castle is unfortunately not, or only to a limited extent, barrier-free for wheelchair users.
I always look forward to coming back!
Very nice, clean and well maintained👍 …
